Amila Glisic

Amila has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for more than 15 years. Studying Yoga has enriched her life at every level: physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual. She enjoys sharing what she has learned while maintaining her love of being a student.

After years of varied yoga studies, Amila joined Forest House Yoga and was introduced to the heart-oriented and spiritually inspiring Anusara Yoga. She fell in love with Anusara Yoga and has been "hooked" since her introduction in 2000. She completed her Teacher Certification training under the guidance of Debbie Forrestt and Kat Myers in 2006. Amila is very passionate about continuous education and training. In 2009, she completed 200-hrs certification training in Medical Chi Gong at an NQA (National Qigong Association) registered facility. She has studied with Master Jason Campbell, a 6th degree black belt, and Master Michael Leone, an 8th degree black belt. Her vision is to offer the highest quality classes, which would benefit her students, from beginner to senior practitioner.

Amila teaches All Level Yoga, Vinyasa/Power, Gentle, Restorative, Yoga Therapy and Chi Gong. Her classes are blend of asana practice, breath/energy work, and relaxation/meditation.
